Direct Developer is a property agency that helps people find new launch property directly from the developers in Selangor, Malaysia. The objective of this website is to help home buyers search for new launch property according to its location, property type, completion status, and price.

Process

This project started off with a simple text from the client giving me an example of the kind of website he was looking to create. We set a time to meet and talk in person about more details. When we met up, we discussed about the main functions that the website needs to have, the timeline we were looking at, the price, and set the specific deliverable as well as expectations. When all is said and agreed, an agreement was signed.

Next, I showed the client different ideas and inspiration, we went through a few different style of websites, and brainstormed together what we liked or didn’t like from each website. Once we identified the style and direction, the actual planning and design work began. It involved registering for a domain name and the right hosting plan for the client. In the mean time, the client started to prepare and organize contents for the website according to the agreed timeline.

In this specific project, the client intended to manage the website by himself after it is completed, so instead of uploading all the properties, I created a few example properties and a series of video tutorials on how to upload each property for the clients to watch. 

When the website was done and successfully handed over, I made myself available for questions and support, until the client felt confident to manage the website by himself.
